Scholarship Terms and Conditions

🎓 JOA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 05/01/2025.

By submitting a scholarship application to JOA Foundation, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a JOA Foundation scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled (or intending to enroll) in a recognized academic institution.

  • Meet the specific criteria stated for the scholarship applied for (e.g. age, location, academic performance, financial need).

  • Submit all required documentation truthfully and accurately.

2. APPLICATION

  • All applications must be submitted online via the official JOA Foundation scholarship portal or link provided.

  • Incomplete, forged, or late applications will be disqualified without notice.

  • Only one application per individual per round is allowed.

3. SELECTION PROCESS

  • Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit, and availability of funding.

  • Decisions are made by a review committee and are final.

  • JOA Foundation may conduct interviews, background checks, or request additional verification.

4. CONDITIONS OF AWARD

By accepting a scholarship, the recipient agrees to:

  • Use the funds exclusively for school-related expenses (fees, books, uniforms, etc.).

  • Maintain good academic standing and provide updates when requested.

  • Notify JOA Foundation of any change in school enrollment or contact information.

  • Participate in occasional feedback, testimonials, or visibility campaigns if selected.

5. TERMINATION

Scholarships may be suspended or revoked if:

  • False information is discovered in the application.

  • The recipient fails to comply with the academic or reporting obligations.

  • The recipient misuses funds or misrepresents the Foundation.

6. PUBLICITY

Recipients may be featured in JOA Foundation publications, social media, or reports. By applying, you consent to your name, photo, and testimonials being used for public purposes unless you opt out in writing.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

JOA Foundation shall not be held liable for:

  • Missed opportunities due to application errors.

  • Loss of internet access or technical failure.

  • The outcome of scholarship selections.

8. MODIFICATIONS

JOA Foundation reserves the right to update these terms and to alter, suspend, or cancel any scholarship program without prior notice.
